Hear His voice

Christians should be preparing for what is soon to break upon the world as an overwhelming surprise, and this preparation they should make by diligently studying the word of God and striving to conform their lives to its precepts. The tremendous issues of eternity demand of us something besides an imaginary religion, a religion of words and forms, where truth is kept in the outer court. God calls for a revival and a reformation. The words of the Bible and the Bible alone, should be heard from th… Continue

Change?

I must say what got to me the most was seeing the faces of the people in the crowd. There was some healing happening that night. :)

"This election had many firsts and many stories that will be told for generations. But one that's on my mind tonight's about a woman who cast her ballot in Atlanta. She's a lot like the millions of others who stood in line to make their voice heard in this election except for one thing: Ann Nixon Cooper is 106 years old."
She was born just a generation past slavery… Continue

The Love of the Truth

'They perish because they did not receive the love of
the truth, that they might be saved.' 2 Thess.2: 10

There is a receiving of 'the truth', and a receiving of
'the love of the truth'. These two things widely differ.

To receive the truth will not necessarily save; for many
who receive the truth, never receive 'the love of the truth'.

Professors by thousands receive the truth into their
judgment, and adopt the plan of salvation as their creed;
but are neither saved nor sanctified thereby. Bu… Continue

Abortion

Obama has promised that ''the first thing I'd do as President is sign the Freedom of Choice Act'' (known as FOCA). This proposed legislation would create a federally guaranteed ''fundamental right'' to abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, including, ''a right to abort a fully developed child in the final weeks for undefined 'health' reasons.'' In essence, FOCA would abolish virtually every existing state and federal limitation on abortion, including parental consent and notification la… Continue

What causes cancer

Casein is a protein that is found in milk and used independently in many foods as a binding agent. Technically, it is part of a group called phosphoproteins, collections of proteins bound to something containing phosphoric acid. Casein may also be called caseinogen, particularly in European foods.

Casein is a salt, meaning it has no net ionic charge, of the element calcium. It has a number of interesting properties that make it useful in foods and cooking. Many people believe proteins are healt… Continue

Hi Kim Shay, Happy Sabbath to you and your beautiful family.

How was your week? mine was great: i finally got one on my disfunctional student to read! He read four pages from a phonics book. He was so surprised that he could read that he genuinely smiled and chuckled for the first time. this is a student i have trying connect with since September 2007. well this term i have been giving him kids multivitamins and multigrained cookies. i encourage him with a postive word every time i see him at school. when he read i congratulated him and the class applauded and we all said, "Davey, you tha man!" He really loved it. he has so many issues but so does the rest of my class so i pray for them and try all positive holistic approaches i can find and think of. i really enjoy watching them grow. they feel safe with me and i deeply respect that. they are God's children and we must never give up on them. Bless.
